Can I Install the Lippert Manual Style to Power Awning Kit # LC329250 with Power Head on Left?
Question:
I noticed that the electric awning conversions I have seen all have the power head on the right side facing RV, can these be switched to the left side - thats where my power would be located. AandE Dometic awning, pull down.

I went ahead and reached out to my tech at Lippert with your question. He confirmed that the Solera Manual Pull Style to Power Awning Conversion Kit, White # LC329250 is directional, so there is no way to reverse the setup in order for the power head (drive-side head) to be switched to the left side of your Dometic A and E awning. This is because the design of the heads are directional and cannot be flipped upside down while functioning properly.
I went ahead and attached the note where the instructional manual states the setup for your convenience.
