Troubleshooting Ford F-150 And 2022 Coachman Northern Spirit Riding Light With Blue Ox TrackPro
Question:
We purchased a 2022 Coachman Northern Spirit 2557RB. Empty 5842, gross 7600. Im pulling it with a 2012 F-150 5.0, 7800 gross. Were using a Blue Ox TrackPro BLU55FR. The trailer has been empty up until now and I adjusted the TrackPro per the instructions. I still get some bounce but my biggest concern is the front of the truck seems to move around. Ive adjusted the TrackPro to several different heights but the ones Ive tried seem to make it worse. Any suggestions? Thank you

From your description, it appears your the front of your 2012 Ford F-150 is riding light because you have too much weight on the tongue. The good news is you do not have to replace your entire Blue Ox TrackPro.
The Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 7-Hole Shank - Underslung - 10K GTW, 1K TW, part # BLU55FR, you are using is an underslung coupler; the coupler is attached to the bottom of your trailer's frame instead of the top. If your 2022 Coachman Northern Spirit does not have an underslung coupler, you need to replace the head of your TrackPro with the Replacement Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution Head, part # BLU68FR. This will convert your TrackPro from being an underslung coupler to a traditional coupler.
