Bike Rack Recommendation for the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020
Question:
Can the Thule ProRide XT be installed on a camper SR1020 rack? The bars are 1 1/4inch tall x 1 1/4inch wide. Not 7/8 inch tall x 1 1/4 inch wide like other square bars.

While we do have a great rack for the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020, my contact at Thule confirmed that the Thule ProRide XT # TH598004 is only tested to fit square crossbars up to 7/8 inch tall x 1 1/4 inch wide. With that being said, they cannot confirm that the ProRide attaches to the 1-1/4" wide x 1-1/4" tall crossbars of the roof rack.
However, for a 100% definite option, I recommend the Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier # Y02103. My tech at Yakima informed me that this fit crossbars that are a maximum of 3" wide x 1-1/2" tall. We do not carry any frame-mounted roof racks that are confirmed to fit the # SR1020 crossbars.
