What Depth Socket is Needed to Install Curt Rockerball Hitch Ball
Question:
How deep does a socket wrench need to be to reach the 1 ½ inch nut and be able to be torqued down? Thanks in advance!

Expert Reply:
A standard depth socket would work fine attaching the nut to the bottom of the Curt Rockerball part # C82KR. Once you put the shank through the washers and ball mount platform the nut is not that recessed at all.
