Compatibility Of etrailer Trailer Coupler Lock e98895 With Coupler Having Guide Lip
Question:
Hi, I’m inquiring about the “ etrailer Trailer Coupler Lock for Flat Lip 2-5/16 Ball Coupler - Aluminum - Yellow, Item # e98895” One person has commented that it wouldn’t work because of a lower ‘guide lip’ on the bottom, back of the coupler.

I took some measurements off the etrailer Trailer Coupler Lock # e98895 that will help you to determine if this will fit your coupler. The maximum width of the coupler tongue channel is 4-1/2" wide, and 2-3/4" deep. The locking pin is 1-3/4" from the edge of the insert or 1" from the end of the coupler. The lip thickness must be under 5/16" to fit properly.
