Does CHMSL Need to be Connected on 2002 GMC Sierra to Wire Pollak 7-Way
Question:
I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 and bought PK11998 to get wiring for my hitch. I have attached the picture comparing the website for the product and the owners manual. The one cable in question was the CHMSL. I dont know if or how to connect it to the plug. Any guidance? Thanks!

You do not need to wire or connect the CHMSL wire from your 2002 GMC Sierra to install the Pollak Pigtail Wiring Harness # PK11998.
I have added a link below showing this being installed on a similar model year Chevy which will help you with the process.
