For daily, consistent towing, the best option for a brake controller for your 2018 Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited is from a brand you had mentioned previously, Tekonsha, and specifically the P2, which is the following part number:
- Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885
I really like the P2 # 90885 because it will give your trailer the most consistently smooth braking, has an easy to read screen, and continual diagnostic checks with safeguards to prevent battery drain or shorts. Additionally, we have found over time that Tekonsha, the manufacturer, makes the most reliable brake controllers and wiring, so there won't be any question about if you are getting a product that is going to last.
The P2 gives you a brake controller with a high level of performance, reliability and ease of use. And that's been backed up by our customers, because as you can see on the product page, it has been reviewed thousands of times and has a nearly perfect 5-star rating.
