Base Rails That Fit 1993 Chevrolet Pickup And 2011 Chevrolet Silverado

Will my drawtite rails that are on my 1993 chevy silverado 1500 regular cab 8 ft bed fit my 2011 silverado extended cab 1500 4x4?

I have been checking our fit guides for base rails and the only rail kit that fits both the 1993 truck and the 2011 Silverado is the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches, part # RP30035.

You can re-use your current base rails, but new hardware would be required when installing them on your 2011 Silverado. I would recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit, part # RP50064. This would include the under bed brackets and hardware needed to install the brackets. Kits that use the custom under-bed brackets take less time for installation and require less drilling than the universal type.

You would also need new hardware, like part # RP58430 as noted above to attach your base rails to the new brackets.
