Will Running the 12 volt Accessory Wire from a 7-way to a Trailer Battery Overcharge it
Question:
I`ve hooked up the black power lead to my trailer battery and the negative to trailer frame . Will this safely charge the battery ? will it over charge it ? is there something I should install to prevent overcharging or is this not an issue

Expert Reply:
The battery charging method that you described would not overcharge the battery of your trailer at all. Actually, at most it will put a very light maintenance charge on the battery to keep it topped off, but would not recharge the battery if it was fully discharged.
