Shackle Straps Touching Frame With Road Armor Equalizers
Question:
I just upgraded to a equalizer road armor equalizer and 3 1/8 shackles. On my Keystone Cougar 29 bhs. It looks like the shackles are able to touch the frame when I hit a bump left a grease and scratch marks. Does this mean the shackles are to long?

If the shackles are touching the frame when using the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 it does indicate the shackles are too long, and since you mentioned you had 3-1/8" shackles, you can use shorter ones which can help.
I recommend going with 2-1/4" straps, the Replacement Shackle Strap for E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System # 018-024-01.
