What 2-Bike Rack Allows Me to Fully Open My Tailgate on My 2018 Ford F-150?

I want a hitch mount bike rack for 2 bikes that will fold down enough at least without bikes to allow me to open the tailgate completely on my 2018 F-150. Please recommend. Thanks.

I have a great solution for you that can allow you to completely open your tailgate completely with a tilting mechanism alone. Without knowing the exact length and height of your tailgate and the lack of specs on the height of our racks in the tilted down position, there is no way to absolutely confirm with absolute certainty what racks (with or without bikes) will allow you to open your tailgate completely on your 2018 Ford F-150.

With that being said, there is a way to definitely open your rear tailgate with a hitch bike rack. That is with using the RockyMount BackStage # RKY10002. While you cannot fully open your rear tailgate when folded down, you can open the tailgate completely by swinging the rack completely to the passenger's side of the vehicle. It also comes with keyed-alike locks that help prevent the theft of both the rack and the bikes so you can travel worry-free.
