Using the Reese Titan Extension # RP45018 While Flat-Towing a 2010 Jeep JK Wrangler
Question:
We have a 2013 Silverado 3500LTZ DRW. We want to flat tow our 2010 Jeep JK 2-door when we have our Lance 1172 onboard. We have a Reese RP45018 that we bought from trailer years ago. Will it work ok for this/ If not, what do you suggest? Thanks

Yes! You will be able to use the Titan Hitch Box Extension for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches, 41" - 48" Long # RP45018 while flat-towing your 2010 Jeep Wrangler. According to the specs on your 2010 Jeep JK 2-door, that vehicle weighs 3,839 pounds. With that weight, you are under the 4,000 pound towing capacity at 48 inches and 5,000 pound of maximum towing capacity at 41 inches. It is important to note, though, not to exceed the weight rating of your hitch or your 2013 Chevy Silverado 3500.
