Can the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack Be Used with Step Through Bikes

Bikes have fenders. Not sure Yakima bike rack will work?

We have a solution for you either way but the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack # HLY84FR may or may not work with your particular step through bikes. There are different styles of step through bikes and depending on how low the step through is, the ratcheting arm on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack # HLY84FR may go down low enough to secure the bike or it may be a little short.

However, if the ratcheting arm does not go down low enough on your particular bike we do have the Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar # HRBA-PRO which can be used to provide an alternative attachment point.

I have included a picture that shows the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack # HLY84FR being used with a step though bike.

The bike rack that I would recommend for your e-bikes since they are step throughs would be the Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # Y02443. This bike rack can handle 2 bikes weighing up to 60 lbs. per bike and the bikes are secured to the rack by the wheels, which is great for step through bikes. This rack also tilts down with the bikes loaded to access the cargo area and the Same Key System (SKS) locks deters theft of your bikes and the rack.

The Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # LGA77FR can hold 2 bikes weighing up to 75 lbs. per bike. It also uses 2 straps to hold each tire which is going to allow you to secure your step through bikes with fenders.
