Why Is My Old Motor Not Sitting Level On My New Gearbox?

Question:

I was that told me my old motor would bolt right on to my new gearbox? Which seems it’s about a 16th of an inch away from fitting flat? Am I doing something wrong thank you.

With the new gearbox # LC379160 you will have to use the two 1/4" washers are used to shim the permanent magnet motor assembly away from the step top so the motor assembly will sit level.
