For your Homesteader Champion 16 foot x 8.5 foot enclosed trailer with dual 3500 pound axles, you need 10" x 2-1/4" brakes. To have a great set, I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA along with the mounting hardware # BRKH10B. The great thing about the etrailer brake kit is that they include self-adjusting mechanisms that take away the pain of having to manually adjust the brakes to accommodate for wearing. Each kit comes with driver and passenger side brakes for 1 axle.
