2005 GMC Sierra Firestone Ride Rite Air Bag Kit Options
Question:
I have a ride rite air bag kit for my 07 silverado, its totaled. I bought an 05 gmc sierra to replace it. Can you guys sell me some brackets to make the 07 kit fit my 05

If you're needing all of the brackets then it's actually more cost-effective to get a whole new kit than to get the brackets for your 2005 GMC Sierra. I've actually looked into this a number of times (hoping that it changes) and I've reached out to Firestone a handful of times as well and unless you're only replacing a few brackets you'll save money with a new kit (plus I'm not sure I would trust the integrity of any of the brackets on a totaled truck). For a new Ride-Rite kit we have the following:
1500 LD - # F2320
1500 HD - # F2190
2500/3500 HD - # F2250 (standard air bags)
2500/3500 HD - # F2700 (HD Red Label air bags)
Please note the air bag kits for the 1500 models are not compatible with an in-bed (5th wheel or gooseneck) hitch but the kits for the 2500/3500 are compatible with an in-bed hitch.
If you plan on using the air bags frequently you might also be interested in the Firestone Air Command II # F2178 compressor kit so you can monitor and adjust your air bags on the go.
