Can Brake and Tail Light L.E.D. Trailer Hitch Cover # FHG72VR be Used as Only Taillight

Can I make this to be the only taillight?

The Flint Hill Goods Square LED Brake Light Hitch Cover for 2" Hitches # FHG72VR is intended as a cosmetic accessory item. It is not DOT-approved as a brake/tail light for use on its own. All of your vehicle standard brake and tail lights must still be used along with this product.

The light illuminates red when running lights are on and LED lights in the background brighten when the brake pedal is pressed.

This hitch cover fits 2-inch hitch receivers and connects to your vehicle lighting system with a standard 4-pole flat trailer connector. If your vehicle does not already have a 4-pole trailer wiring harness in place please advise your vehicle year/make/model and we will be glad to recommend one.

If you wish to lock this hitch cover to your receiver you can use an item such as etrailer hitch lock # e98880.

I bought the LED tubecover oval Ford led hitch the blue led logo doesn't work on my truck

If the blue LED isn't illuminating I would make sure the running light circuit on your 4-Way is working correctly. Try testing the running lights pin (with the tail lights on) to see if you get any power - if not, there's likely a blown or missing fuse under the hood. The fuse location(s) should be listed in the truck's owner's manual. Please let me know if this doesn't resolve the issue.
