Relocating License Plate Light on 2017 Subaru Outback

Question:

I have a 2017 Outback with a tire carrier on the back, which obscures the license plate. I have relocated the license plate to the hitch swing but it doesnt have a light on it. Would I be able to use this product https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/Tekonsha/118467.html in combination with this product https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Lights/Optronics/LPL55CB.html If that doesnt work, what other options would you suggest? Yes, you can pull power for the Optronics LED Trailer License Plate Light part # LPL55CB using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118467 which is a fit for a 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon. You'd simply be taking the brown running light wire from the trailer harness and running it to the black power wire from the light.
