2012 Ford F-150 Raptor Parts Recommendation to Flat Tow
Question:
I have a 2012 Ford SVT Raptor that I would like to tow behind my Newmar Kountry Star diesel pusher. Can you recommend the exact parts I will need to do this? Thank you.

For a complete flat towing setup for your 2012 Ford F-150 Raptor you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. I recommend the following:
Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - # RM-524431-5
Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - # RM-676
Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit - # HM56000
Brake-Lite Relay Kit - # RM-88400
Brake System - Part # DM86VR for hydraulic or part # DM26VR for air motorhome brakes
High-Low Adapter - See attached article
I like the Direct-Connect kit because of how clean it looks and then the Nighthawk All Terrain tow bar has a higher weight capacity of 8,000 lbs and it comes with the safety cables and some of the wiring. To complete your wiring you tee in the wiring kit behind your taillights and then cut the 4-Way off and connect the wiring to the 6-Way that came with the tow bar. The Brake Light Relay kit keeps your taillights working correctly and the braking systems stay installed and ready to go on your Raptor with minimal setup after the initial installation.
