Wiring Two Opti-Brite LED Interior Strip Lights ILL71CB to Trailer Wiring Switch
Question:
I too am looking to install this kit on both sides of the inside of my triton tc 128 snowmobile trailer. Currently it has a single led dome light that has a blackhot and white wire. The white wire is grounded with a loop to the aluminum frame underneath dome light cap. How do I wire this kit? Black to black and then ground the red wire to the aluminum as well? I was going to get part A190P1B to connect an additional strip to go on the other side of the trailer. The stock switch that is connected to the dome light would essentially run these two strip lights after disconnecting the stock Triton dome light. Would appreciate your help to let me know if my thoughts on connecting are correct for my application. Thanks!

The Opti-Brite LED Interior Strip Light part # ILL71CB that you referenced would install like you mentioned. The black wire would go to the power wire you have for the current light and then the white to the ground you mentioned as well. Basically the power wire of both lights would run to the wire you currently have which is operated by the switch you mentioned having.
