Is 4-Pole Flat Adapter Available for Blue Ox BLU86XR

Question:

Ive got a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and want to install #BLU86XR. But if I wanted to use a 6-wire round connector on my Jeep, will I need to rewire it myself, i.e. cut off the 4-wire flat? Or is there an adapter that can be used without having to cut wires? BTW, I am also considering a towed battery charger, which I believe will need to be wired to the battery and ground lines, so I may not be able to avoid cutting. But still curious whether adapters are available...

We don't offer an adapter that would work with the Blue Ox # BLU86XR, you'd need to cut off the existing 4-pole flat connector and wire it to a 6 pole socket like # RM-910030-7.

If you wanted a charge line to the battery of the towed vehicle, you'll need a charge line kit like # RM-156-25 to keep the battery topped off while towing. Even with a charge line installed, it's still recommended that the towed vehicle be started for a few minutes each time you stop.
