E-Bike Rack Approved for Use at Rear of Motorhome that Can Tilt
Question:
Why can I not use a tilting rack on a motor home?I plan to use it 99.9 on the back of my towed vehicle but I plan to use behind my motor home on day trips

Not all bike racks can handle the extra stress that is present at the rear of a motorhome. Tilting mechanisms on bike racks are a weak point which is why mostly tilting bike racks aren't approved for that applications like the Curt # C18085. With that said we have the Hollywood Racks RV Rider part # HLY64FR which is an e-bike rack approved for use at the rear of an RV that has a tilting mechanism.
