How to Get the Closest to a Factory 5th Wheel Prep Package on a 2020 Ram 2500
Question:
I have a 2020/2500 Dodge Ram without the factory puck system and was thinking of getting it installed I have the 5 flat spots in the bed of the truck. And I was looking at my frame behind the axle there are some threaded holes in the side of the frame is that threaded holes for installing the brackets

I do have an alternative solution for you but unfortunately on your 2020 Ram 2500 if you didn't get the prep package from the manufacturer then there is no aftermarket version available for your truck.
The closest thing we would have to a factory style prep package would be the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1320-5W which would provide you with an underbed style mount. This would allow you to use the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W if you have the 8' bed or the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3400-5W if you have the 6-1/2' bed.
With either option you can add the Draw-Tite 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness # 20110 which will give you the prep package style of wiring by moving a 7-way connector into your truck bed while retaining the use of your 7-way at the rear of your truck.
