To properly install the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR, you will need to first install a 4-pole trailer connector.
I recommend going with the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT. This harness will plug into your factory OEM wiring harness, no cutting or splicing necessary.
Finally, you will need to add a 7-way trailer connector. The best option is to use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7.
Now you can hardwire the harness # RED69FR to your vehicle, and you're all set to use the Redarc TowPro Liberty # RED24FR with your 2021 Ford EcoSport.
