Should There Be Space Between the Frame and Axle when Using the SuperSprings # SS95GR?

Question:

The sumo Spring I received does not have any space between the plates when mounted. It was for a 2017 Nissan Texas Titan SV. Is this normal ? Product was SS95GR. other videos I’ve seen show space between bottom of spring and plate. I also noticed noticed other vendors have a different part # for my truck than e trailer. There part # is SS-621-47 ?

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SS95GR is the exact same part as the SSR-621-47. Sometimes etrailer uses different part numbers than the manufacturer's part number. These springs are confirmed to fit your 2017 Nissan Titan SV.

It is important to note, that when you install these SumoSprings, you need to remove the factory bump stops as outlined in the instructions. This is most likely causing the extra space between the axle and the frame. Once removed, there may be a little space, but nothing substantial.

Also, it is important to make sure that you are installing the springs on a level, hard surface. After you are on that flat surface, you need to make sure to jack up the rear of the truck to make sure the axle is hanging freely.

I went ahead and attached the instructions for your convenience.
