How Tight to Get Hitch Pin of Hollywood Racks Trail Rider Bike Rack
Question:
What is the recommended torque spec lb-ft to secure the locking threaded hitch pin to the hitch receiver? I thought I had mine tightened pretty well with a 19mm socket, but after a 20 minute drive it loosened itself enough that it could be turned with fingers alone. Thanks!

There isn't an exact torque figure to use for the hitch pin of the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z but what we recommend is that you move the rack around in the hitch as you tighten the hitch pin until all of the movement is gone. Then getting the pin hand tight with the wrench would be all you'd need.
