Are The Diodes Included In The Demco Stay-IN-Play Needed For Installation
Question:
I installed the demco stay and play on my 2018 Chevy equinox. It came with 2 diodes. I have a rm 152 led wiring kit installed so it does not connect to vehicle wiring at all. Do I need the 2 diodes installed to operate the stay and play system?

Since you already have your tow bar wiring protected by the diodes included in the # RM-152 you will not need to use the two diodes that came with your Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251.
Demco just provides this incase you don't already have your wiring harness protected to prevent feedback to the motorhome. I recommend just hanging on to them incase you ever have a diode go bad down the line.
