Larger Mounting Brackets For Older Yakima Raptor Bike Carrier Mounted To Adarac Crossbars

Question:

I have ADARAC square crossbars on my new truck above the bak flip bed cover, the YakimaRaptor brackets are two small , does yakima or anyone make a substitute bracket that will wrap around a 2 inch square bar or will I need a new rack such as the swagmans you guys recommend which is quite pricey.

Yakima does not offer a larger SnapAround Mounting Brackets # Y8810135 for your Yakima Raptor Roof Mounted Bike Carrier # Y02085, which is no longer available. However, you could use the Universal MightyMounts for Yakima Roof Mounted Accessories # Y03590 which will adapt to almost any cross bars that are no more than 4" wide, and 1-1/2" tall.

Or, if you're looking to upgrade, the Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack # TH598004 is a great option that will accommodate 1 bike weighing 44-lbs, with a maximum tire width of 3", and a crossbar spread of 18" - 36".
