Hello! What are the dimensions and weight of the packing box of Montague Paratrooper Folding Bike - 24 Speed - 26inch Wheels - 18inch Aluminum Frame Item # PARDC18? Considering the lax way transports companies treat packages, is the packing box tough enough to avoid any damage to the bike? Thank you for your time.

The Montague Paratrooper Folding Bike # PARDC18 comes in a 39" x 30" x 14" package and when it's shipped will weigh around 48 lbs while the bike itself weighs in at 32 lbs so we are looking at about 16 lbs of packaging that is added to help protect the bike. To be perfectly honest my contact at Montague said this packaging has helped and they are always looking for ways to improve the packaging but it isn't impossible to get reports of a bike being damaged because of the lack of care handling throughout the shipping process.
