What Purpose Do the Solera Gas Struts for Awnings Serve
Question:
What is the purpose of the struts? How long do they last as I am starting my 2nd year full time. Do they keep the awning taut when extended or less flopping in the wind? I have searched and havent got any answers. Thank you!

The purpose of the Solera Gas Strut # LC260282 is to add strength and support to your awning arms (they support the arms, not the fabric).
