Yes, you can mount it vertically.
This light is a surface mount light that has a foam gasket along the backside to give it a weather tight seal once mounted to a flat surface, like a trailer wall.
This unit can be mounted in any direction as long as it has power and can form a seal to protect it from the elements. Just make sure that it will not be sitting in water or submerged.
