Replacement Wheel Bolts and Lug Nuts for 5.30-12 Boat Trailer Wheels

Question:

I’m looking to buy new tires already mounted on rims for my boat trailer, it’s a 16’ aluminum boat. I know the size of the tires, 5.30-12, and I know the lug pattern, 5 on 4.5, but I don’t know the size of the lug bolts… I don’t have the boat on hand to measure the size of the lugs, however I do have the spare tire for the trailer on hand, is there a way to determine the lug size?

The standard 12" wheel uses a 1/2" - 20 lug nut so you'll be looking at part # CE11051 for a standard lug nut or part # KALN1375S for a stainless steel option. I recommend going with the stainless just because it will hold up better to corrosion.

If you're looking for the actual wheel bolt or stud then I can link our selection of 1/2" options for you to filter through but you're going to have to pop them out and measure them to make sure you get compatible replacements.
