Will this bolt on sway thing work on a 2 inch curt receiver ?

Yes it will; so long as you have a standard 2" ball mount like the # EBMK4 or something similar, the trailer hitch receiver itself won't matter. The ball mount is what you mount the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts # RP26003 on.
This will allow you to use the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660.
