Lippert Road Armor Equalizer and Wet Bolt/Shackle Kit For Grand Design Imagine 23BHE Travel Trailer

I am planning to install the lippert road armor equalizer on my tandem axle Imagine XLS 23bhe travel trailer. The current shackels are 2 1/4” center of hole to hole, and the current equalizer is 7 3/4” center of hole to center of hole. Since the road armor is 6” center to center, would I need shackles that are 3 1/8” to install, and will that alter the geometry significantly? Which shackle kit would be best?

You will want to use the Lippert AP Kit # LC52SV that is specifically designed to be used with the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740. I have included a video linked below that shows these being installed on a 2020 Grand Design Imagine travel trailer with the same 7-3/4" equalizer and 2-1/4" shackles that you have on your Imagine XLS 23BHE.

We do have some Bronze Bushings # K71-291-00 if your leaf springs currently use nylon bushings. You will need 2 sets of 4 to do all 4 of your leaf springs.
