Battery Charge Line Kit For A 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question:

I would like to know if it is necessary to have a battery charge line installed for a flat towed vehicle with my current setup. I would be installing it on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and between your recommendations and my preferences I have already installed the base plate BX1128 and about to start on the Blue Ox tow bar BX4370, Blue Ox portable brake BRK2019 and wiring kit RM-152-98146-7. Please let me know if the line charger is required and what your recommendation would be. You guys have been great to work with and I value your opinion. TIA

For your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you do not need a charge line kit, however it is always recommended to install one.

That being said, I recommend the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25.

If there is not 12v power at the 1'oclock position on the 7-way at the rear of your RV, you also will need the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes # RM-156-75.
