What 2-Bike Trunk Rack Fits My 2022 Volkswagen Taos?

Can Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack be used with VW Taos 2022? Has anybody tested it?

I have a great 2-bike option for you. Unfortunately, I confirmed with Thule that the OutWay 2 # TH45JV does not fit your 2022 Volkswagen Taos. Our installation team here at etrailer has not had the opportunity to install the OutWay 2 on that new vehicle model.

However, with that being said, a great alternative route is the Yakima FullBack 2 # Y02634. Not only does the FullBack come with a slightly higher 35-pound per-bike weight capacity, it also comes loaded with theft-deterrence mechanisms for the bikes as well as the rack (just like the OutWay).

If you happen to be transporting women's bikes, children's bikes, or bikes with step-thru frames, you need a bike frame adapter bar like the # 64005. The adapter provides your bikes with a straight, horizontal plane that is required to mount onto the arms of the rack.
