Can You Use a Load Range C 215/75-14 Tire On Trailer with Load Range D
Question:
I have size 215/75r14 load d tires on my travel trailer and bought a spare tire the same size but it was a load c and the tire was taller than the load d so it wont work right.im confused

A 215/75-14 LRC will have the same dimensions as a 215/74-14 LRD, 26.7" diameter x 8.5" wide. That said, you should still not mix load ranges as that would result in running different psi which can great issues. It's fine if you only need to get a few miles to a service center but for extended use you should make sure the tires are the same size and have the correct load rating for the trailer, the Provider ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire part # TTWTRTM2157514D.
