What Base Plate Kit Works With The Ford Fusion Energi And The Roadmaster Guardian?

Is there a way I can use the RM Guardian with my Ford Fusion Energi? The spacing on the Direct Connect arms is quite a bit closer than the attachment points of the Guardian. The Tow Defender I bought last year melted because of the rig exhaust. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

I recommend using the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-524458-4 with the Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard # RM-4000 for your Ford Fusion Energi. You will just need to use the Replacement Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly for Roadmaster Motorhome Mounted Tow Bars # 910021-00 as well.
