Is It Easy To Switch from a Fantastic Vent to a Maxxair RV Vent Fan
Question:
In a Sprinter I have both a Maxxfan and a Fantstic fan. Want to chg out the fantastic fan to a maxxfan. Is that a simple switchout? Same hole size etc?

Expert Reply:
Yes, both Fantastic Vent and Maxxair will use the same industry standard 14" x 14" cutout (may measure slightly more) so you can easily switch one out for the other with minimal modifications. If they are both powered units you should be able to reuse most of the wiring as well. The MaxxAir MaxxFan Mini Roof Vent part # MA00-04401M is a powered unit with manual lift and four speed settings. I have attached our entire selection below.
Don't forget the Roof Vent Installation Kit part # 344270KITW.
