Availability of Replacement Mounting Hardware for Thule Cascade Roof Mounted Cargo Box
Question:
I use our cascade box with original hardware on the factory crossbars of our 2008 Toyota sequoia and though not easy to install as there are 8 wing nuts to tighten each time and the further sets are hard to reach, the system works, now the exterior plates are totally rusted out and need to be replaced, are replacements available? or is there a more modern and easier system that will fit the our current set up. thank you.

Expert Reply:
The Thule Cascade boxes use hardware kit # TH04997. There is not a replacement for this from Thule but you could use the # CTC-18PARTS if you prefer u-bolts.
