Will Air Bags Work On a 2013 Ford F-350 with Flat Bed

Question:

Recently had a steel cm flatbed with tool bins installed. The truck rides on the oem axle bumpers. I plan to haul heavy loads tractor, and mini escavator etc. Is the air bag a sufficient fix or should the leaf springs be upgraded or what is the solution here?

Expert Reply:

I do have an option for you but for a constant load like the service body/flat bed has, we recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFRTT350F which is designed for this exact purpose. It's not adjustable like air bags but the adjustability really doesn't matter for constant loads and these are maintenance free so you don't ever have to worry about them. They will not only support the weight of the bed but also additional gear and trailers.
