Solution to Prevent Power From Trailer Battery Running Back to Alternator When Using Charger

Question:

I need an isolator that will isolate the truck battery/Alt. from the trailer battery/battery charger when I am charging the battery up on the trailer with the self contained AC charger on the trailer. But let the truck Alt. still charge while going down the road.

What you need is the Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode - (Qty 1) # RM-790. This will allow power to go from your alternator to your trailer battery while driving. It will also prevent power from the trailer battery from coming back to the alternator when you are using your AC charger.
