Will the RP50140-58 rail work for mounting an on-hand Valley 16k fifth wheel hitch on a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab?

Since you have a Quad Cab 2008 Dodge Ram the custom fifth wheel rail kit you would want would be the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50040-58. This rail kit would be compatible with your Valley fifth wheel hitch as long as its not a UBS Valley hitch.

The Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50140-58 that you referenced would work for you if you had a Mega Cab but since you have a quad cab it would not be the correct kit for you.
