The K-Source Replacement Side Mirror # KS70677T for your 2013 Toyota Prius c has a textured black finish on it so you don't need any special kind of coating applied - simply install it and you're good to go! The only reason to take it to a shop for spray paint is if you want it in a different color other than black.
