Roof Bag Recommendation for Hatchback with Roof Rack
Question:
Which rooftop bag hooks to a hatchback? Hi, I have one roof rack on my car. I want to hook the front of a cargo bag to the roof rack and the back of the cargo bag to the top of the hatchback door. Are the straps long enough? Would the car clips fit on the gasket around the hatchback door? Thank you.

The CargoSmart Soft-Sided Car Top Carrier # CS44FR uses straps that you loop around the crossbars of your roof rack for the installation.
For something with clips you'll want to check out the Rightline Ace Jr Rooftop Cargo Bag # RL100A50 but these clips are designed to fit in the door jambs of your doors so I don't recommend placing them at the hatch.
I really like the Rightline bags for the clips but if you already have a roof rack then definitely go with the CargoSmart because you'll just wrap the straps around the crossbars.
