Should PVC Tubes Lock In Place on CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers
Question:
The PVC tubes I have do not have a way to lock them. Why is it important that the tubes do not rotate on the square posts?

I reached out to CE Smith about the # CE27620 and although they do have a no-rotate notch there’s no need for the tubes to lock once they are put down on the galvanized tube since they are snug and tight. The PVC tubes are not made to rotate. If they do, it probably indicates that they are too loose. If they are loose, they may come off while driving which would be the main reason they need to be secure.
