Grease Seals Needed for a Weekend Warrior Triple Axle Trailer with 6000 Pound Axles

Question:

Hello. I recently purchased drum and electric brake units from Etrailer. When I install them, I want to have the correct axle seals on hand. We have a triple axle, 2007 Weekend Warrior 32ft. It has AL-KO 6000 lb axles with the 12x2 electric drum brakes. Can you tell me which seals I need? Thank you.

The best way to determine the correct grease seals for your triple axle trailer would be to take a few precise measurements. I recommend using a set of digital dial calipers to obtain these measurements.

You will need to measure the grease seal portion of the spindle as well as the diameter of the hub to determine the correct grease seal for your triple axle trailer. I have included a diagram showing these measurement locations for you.

I have included a video and a helpful article that you might find useful for installing your grease seals.

I have 2008 weekend warrior toy hauler that had Al-Ko 6000lbs axles. 12\12 electric brakes. I sheared of the 4 out of the 6 studs. Can I replace the studs or have to replace the whole hub? Part# please. Thank you

I'd definitely replace the entire hub/drum assembly on your trailer. The studs aren't available by themselves and there's also a decent chance that the existing hub also took some damage. For the 6,000 pound Al-KO axles the Dexter # 42656 should work perfectly. Just be sure your current hub uses the 25580 inner bearing and 15123 outer bearing.
