Will Reese Strat-Line Weight Distribution Spring Bars Fall off Dual-Cam Sway Control in Tight Turns
Question:
Can tight turns be made using this system without the outside bar coming off the straight line cam?

Expert Reply:
Extreme tight turns like jack-knifing could result in the bar sliding too far and coming off the dual-cam mount on a Reese Strait-Line system. But average driving situations should not be a problem unless something was not adjusted correctly.
With a dual-cam system there is a lot of fine-tuning that needs to be done to get it just right. If you experience a bar coming off and the turn is not all that tight then something is probably not adjusted quite right. I have included a couple of links that should help.
What you could do is if you have to make a very tight turn remove the bars before hand if at all possible.
