Wiring Colors for Kelsey Hays Brake Controller 81739
Question:
I’m searching for the proper connections on a Kelsey Hays model 81739. It has three wires and a hydraulic connection. The wires are red, black, and blue.

Your old Kelsey Hays brake controller uses the standard wiring colors for brake controller install. The red goes to the stoplight circuit, the black goes to the 12 volt power supply, and blue goes to the trailer connector as it's brake output.
