Mounting a Bike Using the RockyMounts LoBall Bike Rack on a 2008 Frontier Crew Cab Short Bed
Question:
I have a 2008 Nissan Frontier LE with the crew cab and short bed. Is it okay to turn the frame of the bike some after mounting the forks on the # RKY1097 so as to be able to close the tailgate. Otherwise I dont think I will be able to close it. If I mounted it on the side, I still believe I would have to turn the frame some to make it fit. Thank you

It is perfectly acceptable to turn the frame of the bike after you have the fork mounted to the RockyMounts Clutch SD Bed Rail Bike Rack, # RKY1097. This is commonly done in situations such as yours where the bike may be longer than the truck bed.
